When I was only a few months into my Nikken career, we had the opportunity to attend an International convention in Japan. I sat next to a Japanese lady and asked her how long she had been in Nikken. She smiled at me and said: "I've been in Nikken 16 years. I'm 80 years old and I'm healthy and I'm wealthy! I thought WOW, she looks great! I want to be like her when I'm 80 years old! I AM in the right business!
The mind is made up of what it feeds upon. Before Nikken, much of my daily mental energy was used up thinking about money or rather the lack of it! There must be something that's higher and more noble to think about than how to pay off lousy bills!
No success can compensate for failure in the home. Financial expediency often requires both parents to work outside the home. No parent would actually want their children to be "latch key kids". Studies confirm ones common sense that a young child stuffed in a room with 20 other kids is going to have less supervision, less attention, and less love, than a child would receive if left at home with their mother.

When we were looking at the Nikken opportunity, we visited the home office, met a number of Diamonds, some of whom were making a significant amount of money. The interesting thing is that not a single one of them ever mentioned their income! They all talked about what happened to certain individuals when they started using the Nikken products. It was really quite an eye-opener.
