The Nikken business is a lot like a recipe... find the right ingredients... put them to work... do it over and over and you'll be successful.

I believe that one of the most powerful aspects of Nikken is that it is so simple… therefore it can be so duplicable. Keep it simple and you will keep it duplicable! I would like to share what I believe are the essential fundamentals of building your company business.

ATTITUDE COMMITMENT BELIEF SENSE OF MISSION ENTHUSIASM
This business is totally and entirely what your mind and your heart make of it. We all essentially have the same business plan; the products are also the same. It is a wonderful and sobering concept: It is you that makes the difference! You can alter your whole life by simply altering your attitude of mind. Thinking DOES make it so!!! Read good books. Surround yourself with good friends and associates. Be with people who are doing what you want to do and are going where you want to go. Continually listen to good tapes. Pray always-it is the most powerful source of strength. Build within yourself a loving and caring MAGNETIC personality. To attract, you must be attractive. Genuinely love people and be interested in others. “People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.” You will naturally make them a friend before you make them a distributor.

FIND A MENTOR.
Find one or more people in your close upline who are successful in Nikken. Call them everyday! Introduce your people to them. Always remember you are in business for yourself but you shouldn't be in business by yourself. Don't try to be the Lone Ranger. This is vital! If you model yourself after what successful people are doing, you too will be successful! Remember, your upline are going to be paid on your efforts, you might as well let them earn it!

BUILD A LIST OF NAMES.
Make a list, check it twice, find out who’s ambitious and nice…and hungry! If you sponsor people who are compassionate, have gumption, and are looking for something, you will be successful! IMPORTANT! Let the magic of large numbers work for you. Have a large list of names! See lots of people!

APPROACH.
Nikken has so much to offer those who are looking for an opportunity. Call the people who are on your list. Just talk from the heart. Tell them why you are excited. Let them know that this is your new career. That Nikken is what you want to do for your life's work. Say: “I have always admired you, and respect your abilities. Would you ever consider going into business with me? I believe we could really have a lot of fun together!” Note: The best strategy is to approach people with Nikken as an exciting, fun, and profitable business opportunity. Don't talk about the products without also telling about the business. Always cover the three fundamental motivators: FUN! MONEY! THE MISSION!

INFORMATION.
I have built my business by passing out LOTS of tapes. A good tape will touch people and make them think. It will make them curious and want to know more. Also if they listen to one tape, I give them another. Keep feeding them information. Tapes are your seed. If you want a bountiful company harvest, plant lots of tapes!

PRESENTATION.
If you can make your people feel good with our products, you will be almost there! Spend the time giving them the deluxe KENKO ROLL OUT! Really try to make them feel good. If they have a specific discomfort; do all you can to make it feel better. You will really get their attention if you do! These products WORK! (if you do!) ROLL LOTS OF BACKS!

REFERRALS.
“Let me ask you a question: If you could only say one name, who is the very most compassionate, ambitious person that you know. That really has a magnetic personality… Just say one name… You know lots of people... I know you are thinking of someone... just say the name of the person whose face you see in your mind right now… What is their name?... What do they do?... Where to they live?... What is their phone number?... Would they be there now?... Lets give them a call!” Practice this dialog. It works! When you learn to get referrals, you will never run out of names!

THREE-WAY-PHONE-CALLS.
Daily connect with your active up-line and call your new prospects and your existing distributors. Do three-ways OFTEN!

BIG EVENTS / WELLNESS PREVIEWS / SILVER TRAINING.
There is magic and power in a group gathering of excited distributors. Getting your people to these functions can make the difference of success or failure. Put real importance and urgency on upcoming meetings. They will catch the vision!

FOLLOW UP FOLLOW UP FOLLOW UP FOLLOW UP.
This is IMPORTANT! FOLLOW UP! Most of my people didn't join me because of my first contact with them. Don't camp out on their front porch; just keep getting back with them in a friendly way. Always have lots of people “somewhere in the process”, call them about an upcoming event, and give them a new tape or piece of literature. Work with people that you enjoy being around anyway so that the worst result is that you will make another friend!

GET A DEMO PAK / CAREER PAK / PERSONAL USE PRODUCTS.
If you tell people that this is your career and that you are really serious about this business and you have no product... well it just doesn't sound like you really believe this is a good opportunity. You have to get a demo and career pak so you can ask others to get their demo and career pak. You can't ask other people to do what you won't do. Without this critical step, no one will have any product and no one will be getting any fantastic product experiences. If you get your product the first month in business, you will have the power to get your new people to get product when they start Nikken. If you don't do this critical step, you will fail.

FIND FOUR KEY PEOPLE.
If you will approach somewhere between 50 and 250 people, some will listen to the tape. Some will want to know more. Some will want to buy product. Some will sign up to buy it wholesale. A few will join you to build an empire. You are basically in the “sorting” business. You don't need to recruit the whole world. Love everyone. People do change their minds. Someone might say no today but will be great in this next month or next year. Always leave the door open for them. (another reason to follow up!) But you do need four leaders that are ready... TODAY! How do you know that you have a leader? If they call you and do the above fundamental steps. The important job at this step is to prove to them that it works by helping them sponsor their people. If you have four good people and you help each of them get four good people and everyone invests in basic product, you will be a strong silver with the foundation laid out for a gold distributorship!

THE SPEED OF THE GROUP IS DETERMINED BY THE SPEED OF THE LEADER.
